Interior Plant Service Technician - Jersey City, NJ Expand

We are currently seeking a Part Time Interior Plant Service Technician (24 hrs. a week) in Bergen, Essex & Morris counties (Englewood, Newark, Jersey City, Morristown, Mt. Olive and West Caldwell). You will visit customer locations to care for their interior plants. The job primarily consists of checking in with the client, testing the plants for water, and grooming the plants. There is a lot of walking so you will get your steps in! Parker provides all the equipment required.
*This position is starting out as a part-time position but could evolve into a full-time one*

Qualifications
* Must have strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have a positive attitude
* Must provide exceptional customer service at all times and build relationships
* Ability to follow instructions
* Must pass background screen
* Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
* Must meet all company Motor Vehicle Requirements (MVR)
* Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, read, and write English
* Strong time management skills

Preferred Skills: Previous experience in landscape, horticulture, and/or a greenhouse

Physical/environmental elements for this position:   The candidate must have the ability to handle physical workload including bending, squatting, walking (spending all day on their feet), stretching, climbing a ladder, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs.

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour (salary is negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a high performing driven Sales Director to lead our sales and support teams to achieve the established revenue and market share targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This individual will be an integral part of our leadership team.

As the Sales Director you will:
• Drive profitable sales across all channels

Staff Accountant Expand

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage the entire payroll process as well as financials.

As the Staff Accountant you will:
• Process multi-state payroll
• Collect time and review errors with managers
• Enter payroll hours, deductions, bonuses, commissions, etc.
• Prove out payroll/taxes and generate batches for general ledger
• Address any issues or questions from employees
• Worker’s compensation audit
• Assists with Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as needed
• Oversees the system of internal controls over accounting functions to minimize risk.
• Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements
• Prepares monthly reports for General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Balance Sheet, and Profit and Loss Statement
• Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• Assists external auditors and provides required statements and information for the annual audit
• Assist in preparing budget reports and assists other departments to prepare annual budgets
• Assist in cost accounting and reporting
• Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures
• Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
