Our mission of “Bringing Design to Life” starts with your first meeting. Our designers with backgrounds in interior design and landscape architecture are empowered to create and customize displays specifically for your space. Their designs have won awards ranging from 2 Presidential administrations to BOMA Best of Holiday.

Our local or national installation team will professionally and neatly bring life to your space. As a plant customer, a dedicated service manager trained and certified in horticulture will ensure your property always looks its best, backed by the Parker Guarantee.

Plants are delivered weekly, direct from growers. In our 14-acre shaded greenhouses, we acclimatize the plants for the interior environment and keep a large variety of plants for quick installations and replacements.

Biophilic design promotes healthy mind and body in work environments, bringing nature, fresh air, improved productivity, and reduced absenteeism into your urban space.

Parker has been in the horticulture business for over 70 years. Many of our staff have been with us for 15-35 years, and have significantly contributed to the industry standards (ALCA) on interior landscaping. Our diverse team is made up of specialists ranging from horticulturalists to landscape architects. A live person is one phone call away.

Parker is able to respond quickly and efficiently with local teams based in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut and our centrally located home base in New Jersey. Our climate controlled facility is stocked with plants, containers, and holiday decor.

We scout out high quality, unique, and long lasting materials that look great and save you money long term. Our indoor plants are grown and acclimatized specifically for the conditions they will live in.

Holiday decoration, storage, and plant maintenance can be customized to any budget with flexible lease options. Guaranteed plant service and maintenance ensures a worry free program at an affordable price.

DESIGN CONSULTATION
Your Parker professional will look at your property, listen to your vision and goals. Our designers will consider creative options, lighting, ambient temperature, space layout and traffic to deliver a plan that best accomplishes your goals.

PROPOSAL & RENDERINGS
The next step is to prepare a project proposal as well as visual renderings to assist in envisioning the project.  See the project before committing!

INSTALLATION & SERVICE
Parker professionals are neat, clean, efficient and unobtrusive. Installers arrive on time and leave behind a beautifully planted property.

The Parker organization has earned a reputation for hard work and top-quality performance in large to small installations. Today, Parker stands as one of the largest privately-owned interior landscape company in the nation and has been in business 75 years. Parker has multiple facilities located centrally in New Jersey, as well as satellite offices in NY, Philly, AC, and CT, we're equipped to install world wide from California to London to Dubai to China.

1948

From its inception in 1948 by innovators Len and Bea Parker, Parker Plants have specialized in doing the unexpected and producing stellar results. From their first postwar investment in a bankrupt greenhouse and using U.S. Army surplus homing pigeons to send out-of-state orders back to the main office, the family built a company that has grown into a far-flung, multistate enterprise of greenhouses, farms and so much more.

 

1970's

Rich entered the business in the early 1970s, joined later by his wife, Vicki. To this day, nearly 40 Parker employees have worked with Rich for more than 15 years!

 

2016

The newest addition to Parker's executive team is Rich's son, Nathan, who has diverse experience at large corporations in IT for over 10 years. Nathan in combination with the existing team plans to take over the company as 3rd generation. He currently serves as President and has been implementing modern business systems and tools to improve efficiency while continuing to build customer relationships and uphold Parker’s long time level of service.
