Richard Parker is the 2009 Hall of fame winner for the plantscape industry; PIA, the Plantscape Industry Alliance has inducted Richard Parker into the Hall of fame in Las vegas. This prestigious award is in recognition of the years of leadership in the Plantscaping industry.
2007 Maxi Award winner!

This is a very prestigious award given by the ICSC (international Council of Shopping Centers) for the best holiday display in a shopping center in the United States.

This was a Silver Award winner in the Public Relations category for Parker's "Symphony in Lights" program at Northfield Stapleton Mall in Colorado.

Parker covered the outside of a mall about the size of a football field with tens of thousands of lights on an assortment of trees and wreaths, ranging in size from large to absolutely gigantic. All were hooked up to a central computer set up with a magnificent sound system to create a synchronized display of light and music.

Congratulations to Jay and Stefanie for passing the Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) exam for interior plantscape technicians.

The comprehensive exam is designed to assess the knowledge and skills of professional interior landscape technicians in the following areas: Customer Relations, Fertilizers, Insects, Pesticides, Plant Diseases, Plant Identification, Pruning/Grooming, Safety on the Job, and the Watering of Plants.

PLANET'S certification program promotes the growth and credibility of the interior and exterior landscape industries. It provides professional recognition to individuals engaged in the business of landscape contracting. The objectives of the program are:

  • to raise the standards of the profession
  • to encourage self assessment by offering guidelines for achievement
  • to identify persons with acceptable knowledge of principles and practices of the profession
